5. Text Messages (SMS)
If you opt in through the App (Settings > Text Messages), we send text messages under two separate programs, each with its own consent:
- Account & Security: Password reset codes and account security alerts. Sent only when you request a code or a security event affects your account.
- Community Updates: Event invitations, announcements, and weekly updates. Frequency varies, typically 2-8 messages per month.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of membership. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe, or HELP for help. You can also turn either program off in the App at any time.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your mobile phone number and SMS opt-in consent are never shared with, sold to, or transferred to any third party or lead generator. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are used solely to deliver the messages described above via our SMS delivery provider.
Full program details, sample messages, and screenshots of the opt-in flow are published at our SMS Program Disclosure page.
